Vinod Kumar co-founded String and currently serves as its Managing Director. From his first job as a teenager managing the supply chain for his family’s FMCG business to leading large cross functional teams at global multibillion-dollar companies in the telecommunications and data networking industries - Vinod’s corporate experience runs deep and broad.

With his 25+ years of experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing, customer experience and operations, Vinod’s passion to deliver measurable and sustainable impact in his lifetime, shapes his work at String. Vinod’s been an invited speaker, educator, and mentor at multiple global events.

Vinod holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, Master’s degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Supply Chain from Ohio University and Certification in Corporate Finance from University of Berkeley, California.
