Palat Vijayaraghavan founded  “LEAF”  in 2009, after being witness to the numerous troubles which the marginalised  farmers go-through in managing their livelihood. Vijay has built “LEAF” working deeply with marginalised small hold and tenant farmers to bring about sustainable positive improvement to their livelihoods by blending technology and human interventions helping them to adopt sustainable agriculture practices. 

Vijay is part of key Indian and global think-tanks - ranging from Government of India Task Forces to World Economic Forum, for betterment of the agriculture ecosystem. An Automobile Engineer by education, Vijay is active in preserving the natural environs of the ecological biosphere along with the farming community “LEAF” works with.
