Tinia has a B.S. in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech. Prior to founding Re-Nuble, Inc., she began her career in sustainability as a student pursuing a Masters of Science degree at Columbia University.

A strong advocate for sustainable waste management and closed-loop agriculture, she has been involved in management and business development roles within the sustainability industry for at least ten years and in finance for eight years. She has worn many hats in her career—startup executive, staff accountant, financial analyst, and business developer—with a consistent focus on helping indoor growers use unique and distributed technologies to extract optimal value from organic waste streams.
