At FPE, Saif is responsible for Business Development, Asset Management, Project Execution and Procurement. Over the past decade, Saif has built FPE into India’s leading solar energy platform managing power requirements for over 100 marquee C&I clients. He is currently driving the firm’s international ambitions with projects in South and South East Asia.

Prior to this, Saif was an Investment Director at Avigo Capital, an Indian SME focused PE fund managing $375 million; responsible for making investments and helping portfolio companies scale operations. Saif represented Avigo on the Boards of several portfolio companies. Prior to Avigo, he was the Country Manager for Tata Motors in Turkey.

Saif has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is happy to share his insights on scaling-up and fund raising.
