Engaged in European product planning and North American marketing at the International Division of Pioneer Corp. Engaged in the launch of lithium-ion battery business operations in Taiwan and China as part of the Nihon Denchi Corp. (currently GS Yuasa) planning division. For more than 10 years, was involved in the management of venture business through venture investing and JV establishment business at Trend Micro Corp. In 2014, established Headspring, a global, open innovation company, with the aim of “providing energy systems characterized by the concept of local production for local consumption to emerging markets, utilizing his rich and varied experience in the establishment and launch of companies in 8 countries and experience in a wide range of manufacturing businesses ranging from consumer products to industrial equipment. Graduated from Keio University and obtained MBA from Graduate School of Management, McGill University.
