Koichi is an Unreasonable Fellow. Koichi was part of Unreasonable Impact Americas 2019.
Koichi Kurisu believes regulated markets are the greatest force for good ever created by mankind, and that innovation is the most promising means to extend their gains and address deficiencies. Missteps, dead ends, and sidebars aside, Koichi’s career has focused on innovation. He’s worked in film, in tech, and in the last 20 years, at the base of the industrial pyramid in cleantech — from construction, mining and packaging to transportation fuels. Innovation in these traditionally conservative industries has been hard, but with the support of better data, stronger stories, and inspired investors, the best clean technologies are getting funded and scaling to meet enormous demand. Koichi has a wide variety of experience, ranging from branding, contract manufacturing, and corporate finance to green building, intellectual property strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and supply chain management.
