Kathy is an Unreasonable Fellow. Kathy was part of Unreasonable Impact Americas 2020.
Kathy Hannun is the Co-founder & President of Dandelion Energy, a NY-based startup on a mission to bring home geothermal heating and cooling into the mainstream. Kathy started Dandelion while working at Google's X lab, where she was tasked with finding climate tech Moonshots. Since its founding, Dandelion has installed geothermal in thousands of homes throughout the Northeast.
Kathy has been named a US DOE C3E Fellow, one of MIT Tech Review's 35 under 35, as a TED Fellow, and one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University.
