Developments in cellular agriculture is hindered by the high cost of culture media used to grow animal cells. This cost needs to come down for any industry players to use cell culture as an economically viable method of production. IntegriCulture's unique patented "CulNet System" technology solves this problem by mimicking the natural processes by which cells proliferate in an animal body, and reduces the cost of cell culture. The CulNet System cultures cells at 4~5 orders of magnitude less expensive, allowing cell-cultured products at market-competitive prices. The company collaborates with academic partners in the fields of regenerative medicine, developing a state of art methodology and technology that allows for vascularization and whole tissue culture.

Notable Achievements

  • Launched cell-cultured cosmetics ingredient in April 2021
  • Established and presently leads the cellular agriculture ecosystem in Japan. Founded the rulemaking body and assumed the organizer position.
  • Launched the world's first cell-cultured foie gras that is legally "edible" (regulatory clearance, food grade ingredients)
