Emrgy is a woman-led climate tech company that is transforming water infrastructure into renewable energy and water conservation projects. Using innovative hardware and software technology, Emrgy delivers low-cost, baseload, renewable hydropower to agricultural and municipal customers — directly addressing the energy/water nexus, balancing intermittent renewables in a distributed grid environment, and abating carbon emissions globally.
Emrgy is commercially operating 5 grid-connected power projects in the US and New Zealand, and has now partnered with ten US irrigation districts to redevelop 30 miles of canals into a 16MW portfolio of power projects in 2025. Emrgy has secured exclusivity to 2200 miles of prime water infrastructure to scale installed capacity to 300+MW in follow-on projects.
