Christoph Birkl is an engineer-turned-entrepreneur, who has always been passionate about sustainable solutions to engineering challenges. Christoph has an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a PhD in Engineering Science from Oxford University, where he started studying lithium-ion batteries. Since co-founding Brill Power in 2016, Christoph has worked tirelessly to advance battery management and control technology - a field he has specialized in for over a decade now, and that is particularly important for a sustainable and fair transition to clean energy technologies. When Christoph is not in the office he loves spending time in nature with his family and friends, especially if that involves hiking, skiing or paragliding.
