Christiana Zhu, Founder and CEO of Marvelous Foods, is a Chinese-Kiwi entrepreneur based in Beijing. Christiana transitioned into entrepreneurship after a career in consumer marketing where she was a China specialist for New Zealand tourism boards and head of marketing for award-winning sustainable luxury travel company WildChina.

 

Christiana discovered her passion for health and nutrition after developing severe food allergies on her relocation to Beijing and mending her health through plant-based eating. The experience opened her eyes to how few options there were for sustainable, allergy-friendly packaged foods in China. She founded Marvelous Foods to address this gap, starting with China’s first dairy-free coconut yogurt, Yeyo.

 

Christiana believes that maintaining a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle becomes easier when there are better product options in restaurants and shops. Her mission is to create delicious food products that are superior in taste, nutrition, and environmental friendliness to empower consumers to live healthier lives while creating a positive environmental impact.
