I am the Chief Executive Officer of ENERGYNEST. We are the first energy storage focused-firm to have developed a highly flexible ThermalBattery™ solution on a commercial scale.

Prior to joining ENERGYNEST, I’ve built up over 20 years' expertise in the energy transition from various perspectives: industry, management consultancy, commercialization, investment banking and business development. This includes leadership roles at Senvion (formerly REpower), McKinsey & Co., UBS Investment Bank and BMW Group.

I hold a PhD in Marketing, a Bachelor's degree in European Business and a Diploma in Business Administration. I am a published author on the topic of marketing and innovation management, ‘Design of sales structures in the foreign market' (Gabler Verlag, 2008). Former military personnel, I have served in the Paratrooper Battalion 313 in Germany and as part of Germany’s first NATO peacekeeping mission in Bosnia between 1997-98.

Outside of work, my interests include electric vehicle mobility, nature preservation, advanced technology, motorcycles and I’m a keen sportsman.
